Welcome to The Arts Society, Budleigh Salterton

The Arts Society, Budleigh Salterton is what used to be known locally as Budleigh Salterton Decorative and Fine Arts Society (BUDFAS). We are the same organisation

Our purpose is to inform about, as well as to cultivate an appreciation of, the arts. We will also involve and educate young people in the world of the arts through ‘Young Arts’ initiatives.

We have a programme of 9 talks, held monthly on a Wednesday evening throughout the winter. The talks cover a wide range of arts related subjects and are given by eminent experts in their field. Please also see the Programme page for further information.

Besides this, members can join with local Arts Societies on organised visits to sites of historical and artistic interest as well as discovery days on arts related subjects.
