Was the English Arts and Crafts Movement the most important the country has produced? We will hear about the ideas and ideals behind what brought together a group of highly individual men and woman to produce architecture, craft and art at the end of the 19th Century and start of the 20th.
Kirsty Hartsiotis
Kirsty has a BA in History of Art from Warwick University, and Master’s degrees in Medieval Studies from York University and Museum Studies from the University of Leicester. She combines writing folk tale collections and other fiction with writing talks, reviews and articles on the decorative and typographic arts, and was the editor of the Society for Decorative Art Collections journal from 2009-2018. She has recently taken on the Editorship of the William Morris Society journal. She's also a regular columnist for Cotswold Life and the Gloucestershire Echo.
